Knights of Columbus?

I got approached the other day about joining the Knights of Columbus. It sounds interesting and may be a way for me to meet people around here and get involved more. The guy who told me about it emphasized that it is not just about hanging out and said to me, “It’s not about that clubhouse out back, which could burn down as far as I am concerned…I don’t even drink.” So I am guessing that the K of C have a reputation for partying!

But anyway way, I thought it sounds interesting. Any thoughts?

    The KC in our town are in charge of the friday fish fries during Lent. God bless those Knights and their yummy fish!

    I know a couple of guys at the RC church down the road from us, and they really love it. Sure, they have a reputation for being a little wild from time to time, but they raise money for scholarships and do a lot for their church. It sounds cool to me.

    Dave,
    As a Third Degree member of K of C I would definitely reccomend it. Most of the things the Knights do are for a good cause. Plus, there are benifits to it. Also. who would want to be part of a “Secret Society?”

    I am a fellow KC. We help at the Church in anyway they need us.
