    My name is John Parker, I have been in the CEC for several years namely the St. Andrews parish with Father Jon Jackson Rector. I was training to become a Deacon ( sub deacon ) i guess. I came across your blog here either totaly by accident or led by God. I was sending an email to my new Father, Father Mike at Church of the Redeemer in Williamsburg Va. While looking at his site i noticed that the CEC logo was missing, and when i read more into his write up it said that they were looking for a new path as it were. I have not been able to get intouch with father Mike in the past two weeks and will not be able to go to church this Sunday either, do you know or do you know how i can find out what has happen to the CEC. I tried to contact Bishop Davidson in Fairfax about the changes I have read about and about Bishop Sly and the Zampinos, but his email response to me was ” dont believe everything i read and not to believe in the easter bunny as well. I am serious, a Bishop responded to me that way. What is going on I really wanted to serve Christ I really thought the three streams were a dream come true it is all that i feel and have searched for. Now to find out that it was all a joke or a scam, and to not have anyone tell you first hand what is real and what is just rumors. Case in point, if Bishop Adler was not really ordained, then was Father Jon actual ordained by Bishop Sly, and if that ordination was not real is my son actually Baptised, since Father Jon performed that sacrement?

    Thanks for the comment. I will defer to others on the CEC issues. I’m just plain ignorant of them.

    As to baptism: Even if your priest was a unbaptized satanist with unholy orders from a voodoo priestess, if he used the proper matter (water) and form (I baptize you in the name of the F,S,& HS) and intention (to baptize as the Church does), your son is baptized. In other words, the only person that cannot validly baptize you is yourself.
