Yes, we should give thanks, but technically the traditional CATHOLIC Thanksgiving Day is the Feast of St. Martin (Martinmas) on November 11th. I admit, it has always kind of rankled me to keep what I consider a Calvinist holiday..but I guess the modern American Thanksigiving is close enough to St. Martin’s Day…at least it’s in the right month. ;)
