    Okay. I’m up to paragraph 13, and all I can think is, “I am so proud to call this man Holy Father.”

    A common slang expression in today’s culture is “Don’t go there!” Well, Pope Benedict is totally willing and wanting to “go there!” He’ll ponder the questions we all have, but didn’t think it was holy or prudent to ask. I just LOVE that!

    I agree entirely jaybird. No weak theology or nebulous nonsense here. I am still working my way through it, and probably won’t get an entry about it published until Saturday, but I am excited about what I am reading!

    hypostasis = substance, ah, none of this faith is personal and indiviual that we’ve been hearing for the past x amount of years. Smash the critics right out the water. (Now I don’t feel so bad for teaching that faith was more than just belief)
