What gets me is that so many Episcopalians either seem to like this stuff (probably a minority actually) or at least tolerate it (the majority). Having attended a graduate school with a strong Episcopal presence, I can tell you that this stuff is pretty common among future/current Episcopal ministers. It is sad where the leader of a major (at least in terms of influence, not numbers) denomination is hardly Christian.
Really, David, she is being consistent…
When not much out there is really a sin, and abortion and disorder sexual praxis are classified as acceptable & moral lifestyle choices what else is out there to rail against?
The only real evils seem to be smoking and the burger-loving unelightened proles who don’t know well enough that their dietary habits (never mind it is cheap and convienant for any number of working class people, some of whom find it an affordable manageable way to get a meal between working two jobs with what little money they have to spend on a “luxury” like a burger)… well these idiots (like me) don’t seem to know that they are supporting cow farts that kill.
Gives new meaning to the term “silent but deadly”… As enlightened as she is, she alone can speak out against this bovine flatulence… And the feast of the resurrection is the perfect time to raise from the dead our level of consciousness on this matter.
Seriously, who ever let Episcopalians where vestments anyway?
Love the clown costume she’s wearing! Wonder if she’d do my next birthday party?
