You know just the other day I was sitting around and saying to myself “Gee, I wonder what tin-pot dictators of nations that have sanctioned and supported terrorism (well before terrorism was cool!) think about Biblical higher crticism?”
Well, like manna from heaven this one just feel into my lap and I need wonder the answer no more!
Muammar Gaddaffi explains the Bible is a fraud.
Apparently:
Gadaffi was speaking to a large crowd at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium in Kampala after leading the Thuhur (afternoon) prayer, where he said any Bible and Torah (Old Testament) that does not mention the Prophet Mohammed was written by mankind and therefore a fraud.
“The Bible we have now is not the one that was revealed to Issa (Jesus) and the Old Testament is not the one that was revealed to Musa (Moses). Muhammad is mentioned in both (original versions), but the Tora and Bible we have now, there is no mention of him,” the Libyan head of state said.
Well I guess that settles it. Now I will just have to sit around and wonder how it is the case that all of these various and sundry manuscripts that are extant from all corners of the world from Ireland to India, Rome to Constantinople, Germania to Ethiopia don’t happen to corroborate the Colonel’s theory.
Or better still, join me in offering a Hail Mary and an Our Father for the defeat of these heresies and the conversion of tin-pot dictators and despots all the world over.

Joel I had actually been familiar with that… I just found it odd that we find Muammar – a secular dictator – playing the role of an apologist.
