Meet-Up Tonight

As some of our readers may know, many of us meet occasionally on Paltalk, a voice and text chat medium. The world of internet discussion and chat can be, for lack of a better word, pretty poisonous, and Paltalk is no different. In response to this, some of us started a Paltalk room dedicated to discussing theology in charity with others.  Our room is currently called “Catholic Truth: Ancient Light for Modern Times,” and will be open tonight in the Christian section of Paltalk. To sign-up for a paltalk handle, click on the link listed above, sign-up, and download the Paltalk software (many of us have used it since 2001, so it is virus and spyware free).

We’ll be on tonight around 8:30-9:00 PM EST. If you visit us, let us know if you are visiting from Per Christum, since there are usually about 15-20 folks in the room at any given time.

They don’t have PT for mac, do they? I was gonna recommend my friend Nathan join us…but that’s all he has.

    Chad,

I don’t think you can run Paltalk on a Mac, but I seem to recall Jason ran it on a Mac once using Windows emulation software. I am no expert on Macs by any means, but I seem to recall that. Jason can probably let you know.

I don’t think I did. I had thought about “goin’ Mac” a year a so ago and had planned to either run a dual boot Mac/Windows or at very least use some emulation so I could still run PT.

If Nathan has a newer Mac (running Leopard) and has a copy of Windows, I think a built-in feature called “Boot Camp” will let him run both on the same machine.
