Usually you can get it on the cheap and it has hot water for a shower. The service? I don't know of it one way or another as I have never used the amenities - just slept and showered there... which is all I use a hotel room for on weekend trips... so the fact it is a touristy dive never bothers me. When I have been able to go to concerts at Madison Square Garden, it has been especially convienant. “Don’t go to Hotel Pennsylvania.
